Says designer Tim smith, of the bespoke kitchen space, "it is unusual in the fact that the main working kitchen is in the centre of the room rather than around the walls, it's major feature being the huge island." The worktop on the island is just one piece of thick case concrete from White and Reid Interiors, used especially to achieve a surface with no joins.
